These green beans offer so much more flavor than you could imagine and maybe even more than a French fry! The Mendocino Spices in the breadcrumbs is crucial to bring that fry flavor to life. Once they’re in your mouth you’ll be so surprised they’re baked.
1 ½ cups panko breadcrumbs
½ cup Parmesan
1 tsp Mendocino Spices Onion Powder
1 tsp Mendocino Spices Garlic Powder
¼ tsp Mendocino Spices Ground Cayenne
2 eggs
1 tbsp milk
8 oz French green beans
1 cup flour
– Preheat the oven to 425°F.
– Spray a large baking pan with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil.
– Mix the panko, Parmesan, Mendocino Spices, and season to taste with Mendocino Spices All-Purpose seasoning in a wide shallow bowl, preferably. Whisk the eggs and milk together in another shallow bowl.
– In a plastic bag, toss the French green beans in the flour gently. Shake off the excess when you start to bread.
– Working with a few green beans at a time, dip in the egg. Let the excess egg drip off and then toss in panko, patting firmly so the crumbs adhere.
– Arrange the breaded green beans in a single layer in the prepared baking pan and spray thoroughly with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil.
– Bake until golden brown and crisp-tender, about 10-12 minutes. Serve immediately with freshly grated Parmesan or ranch
