8 oz skinless salmon, cut 1 in’ pieces
Mendocino Spices Meat Blackened Seasoning, to taste
½ lemon
4 garlic cloves, minced
Bang Bang Sauce:
½ cup mayo
2 tbsp sriracha
¼ cup sweet Thai chili sauce
1 avocado, thinly sliced
Red pepper chili, finely sliced, for garnish
Mendocino Spices Hulled Sesame Seeds, for garnish
– In a small bowl, mix mayo, Sriracha, and sweet thai chili sauce. Set aside.
– Season salmon generously with Mendocino Spices meat Blackened Seasoning.
– Over medium heat, coat a large pan with EVOO and once oil shimmers, add salmon.
– Once the center of the salmon pieces starts to turn a light pink, add the garlic and lemon to the pan. Shake the pan to distribute garlic and lemon flavors. Flip salmon pieces once the side cooking crispy and browned.
– Continue to shake the pan to distribute flavors and remove once the other side has reached desired crispiness.
– Plate salmon on a bed of thinly sliced avocado and top with Bang Bang sauce, red chili, and Mendocino Spices Hulled Sesame Seeds. All five components are the perfect bite!
