Overnight oats are great breakfast to meal prep. These are apple pie flavored and are packed with great nutrients from the oats to the chia seeds, to the granny smith apples. You can enjoy these cold or warm depending on your preference and add your favorite Mendocino Spices.
½ cup rolled overnight oats
½ tsp Mendocino Spices Ground Cinnamon, plus more for garnish
¼ – 1/8 tsp Mendocino Spices Ground Nutmeg
¼ tsp Mendocino Spices Ground Allspice
1-2 tsp brown sugar
1 tsp chia seeds
½ cup milk
1 tsp maple syrup (optional)
3 tbsp apples, diced
– In a canning jar or bowl mix the oats, Mendocino Spices, brown sugar, and chia seeds.
– Stir in the milk and maple syrup.
– Top mixed oats with diced apples.
– In the morning, you can enjoy cold or warm them up if you prefer.
