Snack mix is typically bought at your local grocery store for convenience. But when you’re in the mood for that one pretzel in your mix that always is the first component gone, making your own hodge podge of mix can be more appealing and customizable. This spicy snack mix has the perfect amount of heat that will keep you reaching for more, and enough saltiness that will quench your savory tooth.
2 1/2 cups popcorn, popped
2 cups pretzels

1 tsp Mendocino Spices Ground Turmeric

1/2 tsp Mendocino Spices Ground Ginger
1 cup of golden raisins (optional)
1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Toss popcorn, pecans, and pretzels together.
2. Melt butter in a small skillet over low heat. Add Mendocino Spices stirring for 30 seconds – 1 minute. Pour over popcorn mixture and mix to coat thoroughly.
3. Spread out on a rimmed baking sheet and bake, tossing every 10-15 minutes, until dry and nuts are toasted, 30-40 minutes. Let cool; toss in raisins.
