This recipe is stupid easy to make involving only 3 ingredients. My mom used to make this for me growing up and I found it crazy that I loved the leftovers too. As a kid, I feel like that’s unheard of! But it’s simple to make and can be served with various sides including, green beans or asparagus, mashed potatoes, or steamed rice. This meat is very flavorful and can be eaten on its own or can be stuffed in a hoagie roll for a delicious sub. Mendocino Spices will surely fill your life with spice with this recipe!
1 eye of round
Mendocino Spices All-Purpose Seasoning
1-2 jars pepperoncini peppers
– Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
– Season eye of round generously with Mendocino Spices.
– In a large Dutch oven, sear over high heat on all sides.
– Remove from heat and add pepperoncini to the pot.
– Bake for 2-3 hours or more depending on the size of the roast until tender and shred able.
– Serve with green beans seasoned with Mendocino Spices.
